Netflix has revealed the trailer for its upcoming series adaptation of Liu Cixin’s science fiction novel, 3 Body Problem. Watch it below.

Soundtracked by an eerie rendition of Radiohead’s “Everything in Its Right Place,” the trailer follows an ensemble cast as they work to uncover a mysterious killer who exclusively targets scientists and the “best and brightest” minds on the planet. As the clip continues, the mystery expands to include the supernatural, time travel, and a mission to save the world.

“A young woman’s fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time into the present day,” reads the official logline. “When the laws of nature inexplicably unravel before their eyes, a close-knit group of brilliant scientists join forces with an unorthodox detective to confront the greatest threat in humanity’s history.”

Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss co-created 3 Body Problem with Alexander Woo. It stars Rosalind Chao, Benedict Wong, Jovan Adepo, Alex Strong, Saamer Usmani, and Jess Hong. Also set to appear are Game of Thrones alumni Jonathan Pryce, Liam Cunningham, and John Bradley.
