Megan Thee Stallion needs to get some shit off her chest. The H-Town Hottie is putting the world on notice with the release of her new single, “Hiss.” Stream the track below.

Earlier this week, Megan announced the release of “Hiss” with an Instagram video including an egg and snake emoji in the caption. “I just want to kick this shit off by saying, ‘Fuck y’all.’ I ain’t gotta clear my name on a motherfuckin’ thang,” the rapper says in the clip. “Every time I get mentioned, one of y’all bitch ass n****s gets 24 hours of attention. I’m finna get this shit off my chest and lay it to rest. Let’s go.”

The song itself starts with the same speech, and then opens to a sparse hip-hop arrangement, giving space for Megan’s hard-hitting verses, which describe her sexual prowess, skill, and status as a common target for clout-chasers. In between allusions to her courtroom victories and beef with Nicki Minaj, she throws in great lines like “These n****s don’t have fans, they bots/These bitches don’t have ass, they shots” and “I can’t let none of you raggedy bitches think that y’all my equal/ Ever since I claimed the summer, all you bitches want a season.”

“Hiss” arrives as the follow-up to last year’s “Cobra,” which received a surprisingly welcome Spiritbox remix. “Cobra” marked Megan’s first release on her own label, Hot Girl Productions, as well as her first standalone single since her 2022 album, Traumazine.
